We’ve had so many questions lately about our cattle.
One of the most common questions, “Are your cows grass fed?”
The answer, “Yes!” and “Not exclusively!”
Our cows get the best of both worlds. They live on grass pastures. They are also fed daily a mixture of corn screenings, rice bran, broken rice kernels, rice hulls, Flying Heart spent brewers grain and legume hay. This ration is put into troughs twice daily. Cattle eat at will.
